White Hot Chocolate
To create the foamy layer on top of this winter drink, blend some of the hot chocolate mixture in a blender until frothy, and spoon it on each serving.

Ingredients

3 cups half-and-half or light cream

2/3 cup white baking pieces or chopped white chocolate baking squares

3 inches stick cinnamon

1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg

1 tsp. vanilla

1/4 tsp. almond extract
Directions

In a medium saucepan combine 1/4 cup of the half-and-half or light cream, baking pieces, stick cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir over low heat until baking pieces are melted.

Add remaining half-and-half or light cream. Cook and stir until heated through. Remove from heat. Remove stick cinnamon. Stir in vanilla and almond extract. Makes 5 (6-ounce) servings.
