We turned them over remember at 15 minutes so they're lovely infused with all those sweet smelling juices. And now, we're just gonna transfer those onto a dish. We've got some lettuce here. So, what you're gonna need for this is 12 chicken wings; cooking oil for deep frying; 3 tablespoons of margarine or butter; 1 2-ounce bottle of hot pepper sauce, half of a cup of dairy sour cream; a quarter cup of mayonnaise or salad dressing, we'll be using mayonnaise; 2 tablespoons of snipped fresh basil; 2 tablespoons of snipped parsley; 1 tablespoon of milk; and some fresh basil to garnish is optional too. So, with our chicken wings, we discarded the tips of them, and then we broken them at the joint and cut them there. So, in total, we have 24 pieces of wings. So, we have next to us our oil in a pan and that's ready for deep fat frying our wings. So, that should be nice and hot, make sure it is, and we're just going to put in our chicken wings in there and we want to deep fry them for about 8 to 10 minutes until they cooked through. So, our chicken wings are now done. They were cooking for 8 to 10 minutes, and we're just gonna set them aside somewhere warm. All right next, let's make that lovely hot pepper sauce to put on top of our wings. So, in our saucepan next to us, let's add in our butter and the pepper sauce into the pan. Hannah. And I'm gonna show you how to make some amazing oven-fried chicken . Now, my mama is the guru of fried chicken . Growing up, no matter where we were in the neighborhood, when we smell that chicken frying, we would come running. I'm gonna show you how to make a healthier version of that delicious Southern fried chicken . You wanna get a really hot heat in your oven because that's gonna make that chicken so crispy. And next, we're gonna mix up some flour and spices. I've got some McCormick oregano. And remember, when you're cutting down on fat, you wanna pump up the flavor. It's so easy to do with spices. Some McCormick pepper, some seasoned salt. I'm gonna mix all that together. And I'm gonna put some milk over here, and that's what I'm gonna dredge my chicken in. So, I coat it in the milk, and then, just put it in the spices and flour. Now, I like to use skinless, boneless breasts and thighs because it's a great way to cut back on the fat. And I promise, one whiff of this, and your kids are gonna come running. I don't care where they are. Drizzle a little melted butter on top. Now, pop it in the oven. Cooking it in the oven instead of the frying pan makes it a lot healthier. The chicken's done and the smell in this kitchen is crazy good. Now, remember eating well does not mean you have to sacrifice some

you to make a really delicious Italian dinner. Today, I'll be making Chicken Parmigiana. So what you'll need for this is a 3rd of a cup of chopped onion; 1 clove of garlic, minced; 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine; 1 14-1/2 once can of diced tomatoes, undrained; 1/2 teaspoon of sugar; 1/8 teaspoon of salt; a dash of black pepper; a 1/4 cup of snipped fresh basil; and full skinless, boneless chicken breast halves. We have 1/3 cup of seasoned fine dry bread crumbs; 3 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese; 1/2 teaspoon of dried
sauce. So while the sauce is kicking, let's move on to our chicken breast. Now, a lot of the time you have large chicken breast in this and what we wanna do. A of the time, the chicken breasts are quite thick. So, we wanna tenderize the chicken breast and make them nice and thing. So, they are even all the way around and that makes a quicker and easier to cook, so a nice thin chicken about a quarter inch thickness. So, these ones were lucky are already quite thin, but I'll just show you to demonstrate what you would do. So, in between 2 pieces of plastic wrap, cover your chicken . So, the easiest way to do this is get a meat mallet, and we're gonna pound our chicken with the mallet, but if you don't have one of those at home and large hammer could work, a nick big thick
and thin. So, we're breaking up all that connective tissue inside the chicken . So, it will be nice and thin to cook. So, there you go. It's pretty easy, and we're gonna do the same to the rest of our chicken breast. So, once we pound all chicken breast, they are nice and thin, let's get our preparations for our breading of chicken breast. So, in shallow dish, let's get together our bread crumbs, our parmesan cheese and our oregano. There we go. So, we'll mix all of that up, and this is gonna be the nice breading for our chicken . So, Chicken Parmigiana actually originated in Italy. They will do this with [unk] or eggplant as well call in America. So the eggplant parmigiana and that's basically breading the eggplant with bread crumbs as we have here, but in America, we've changed the recipe a little bit and now we do with chicken and also to things you can do with, veal and walnut, but this basically the [unk] mixture or [unk] mixture as they say that we're gonna bread our chicken with. So, in this, we're gonna have our bread crumbs. In a separate bowl, let's whisk in our eggs and our milk together like so. So, we'll get that going there. So, this is the idea. We are gonna dip our chicken in egg mixture first and then the bread crumb mixture and then it's going on the skillet. So, let's just prepare them first. Before we bread our chicken , let's check on our tomato sauce, and that's looking very, very good and just the constancy that I like. So, let's just
