Hey everyone. I'm Judith. Today, we're gonna be making Sweet and Sour Chicken Wings, a really fun appetizer for your party. So what you're gonna need are 12 to 15 chicken wings. We discarded the tips of the wings and we've cut the wings at the joints to make two. So in total, we have 24 pieces of chicken there. Half a cup of all-purpose flour, 3 quarters of a cup of sugar, 3 tablespoons of cooking oil, half a cup of vinegar, quarter of a cup of pineapple juice, a quarter of a cup of ketchup, 1 teaspoon of soy sauce, a quarter of a teaspoon of lemon pepper, and a quarter of a teaspoon of garlic salt. There you go. So, we're gonna heat up our skillet right here to about medium heat and get it nice and hot. We're gonna put our oil in there. And that's gonna get nice and hot for our chicken. Alright. Second of all, let's take in a shallow dish, we're gonna put our flour, our garlic salts, and lemon pepper for that nice seasoning. Alright. We're just through around it a little bit with our hands, mix all of those nice flavors in there, and quite simply, we're just gonna bread our chicken with this flour mixture and we're gonna put it in a pan to fry. So, we'll just turn them in there and we'll place them in our pan. We're gonna do this with all the chicken wings and we're gonna cook them until they're nice and brown. So we've taken our chicken wings from the skillet and placed them in a baking dish. Now, the idea of putting them in the skillet first is not to cook them through but just to get them nice and brown before we finish off and bake them and cook them through. So, we have them here in our baking dish. Now, we wanna make that really sweet sauce for them to cook in. So, let's get a little saucepan to medium heat, and we are gonna put in all of the rest of our ingredients. So, the vinegar, the lovely pineapple juice, which is just gonna give that nice sweetness. The ketchup is going in there too, the soy sauce for a little bit of saltiness there, and the sugar of course. And that is just gonna be a great sauce. So, once all our ingredients are in our saucepan, we're gonna bring that up to boiling, and what we want is all the sugar to dissolve. So, we give it a good stir until all our sugar is dissolved and all our ingredients have come together. So, once that's boiling there, it's time to pour it on our chicken. So all our sugar is dissolved. We can take it off the heat and quite simply, we are just gonna pour that all over, and that is just gonna be a lovely sweet, tangy sauce for our chicken to cook in. Oh, looks delicious already. Now, we have preheated our oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and our chicken wings are gonna go in there for 30 minutes. Halfway through our 15 minutes, make sure to give them a quick turnover. So, I will see you back in 30 minutes. It's been 30 minutes and we've taken our chicken wings out of the oven. They are smelling good. Now, they're nice and crisp on the outside, but tender on the inside. They've cooked all the way through now. We turned them over remember at 15 minutes so they're lovely infused with all those sweet smelling juices. And now, we're just gonna transfer those onto a dish. We've got some lettuce here. And you almost in fact don't even need a dip with this because that sweet flavor of the chicken wings, you'll just wanna have it by itself. So, I'll put a few here, and your friends are gonna absolutely love you when you bring this to a party. Very, very delicious. That's how you make your Sweet and Sour Chicken Wings.
