Hi. I'm Miranda with Recipe.com. And today, I'm gonna show you how to make easy guacamole. So we're gonna make this super simple, irresistible home-made guacamole in 10 minutes flat using only five ingredients. Speaking of, I have those ingredients laid out here, so let's get started. We are going to begin the recipe with the all important avocado. We have two large, ripe avocados here. One tablespoon of fresh lime juice, one Roma tomato, chopped, one tablespoon of fresh chopped cilantro if desired, 1/4 teaspoon of salt and just a dash of red cayenne pepper for a little bit of spice. So we're gonna begin by working with our avocados. So let's take those out of the bowl here. We are going to cut these lengthwise around the pit like this. So you see I'm kind of [unk] swirling around. And then open it. So that side can just hang on over here. But to remove the pit, you may have seen this trick. We're just going to hold the avocado against the cutting board and just rack it with a knife and just twist and look. It comes out perfectly. Now, you know how to remove the pit of an avocado, fun, little party trick. And we're gonna do the same to the second one. The next step is just to scrape out this nice ripe avocado flesh into this bowl. Now, you may notice that I have saved one of the pits over here. Similar to how you can get a piece of [unk], you know, eggshell out with another piece of eggshell. If you keep the avocado pit in with the avocado while you're mashing until you're ready to serve, it will stop it from browning so quickly, so very, very, very helpful. And lime juice will also do that. If you're ever working with avocados for salad or something and you're not quite ready to incorporate them, but you have to cut them. If you sprinkle them with a little bit of lime juice or lemon juice, that citrus will help stop the oxidation process. Just mash this up with a fork and we're just going to add our other ingredients, so the lime juice, that delicious citrusy lime juice, our tomato, of course you need tomato in guacamole, our cilantro for little smoky, smoky flavor, salt. You could also use like sea salt or Kosher salt if you want a little crunch. I think that's really nice in guacamole. And then our final little sprinkle of the cayenne pepper for a kick. How easy was that? And that's why we call it easy guacamole.
