How to Make Male-Bonding Buffalo Wings
Food is one of the things we bond most easily over and these male-bonding buffalo wings sure do help. If your taste buds love heat use three full tablespoons of hot pepper sauce or you can tame this snack recipe back with less sauce.
Hey, everyone. I'm Judith with Recipe.com. Today, I'm gonna be showing you how to make Male Bonding Buffalo Wings, a perfect dish to serve up with the fellows while you're drinking your beers and watching a game. So, what you're gonna need for this is 12 chicken wings. We've discarded the tips of our chicken wings and we've cut our wings at the joints, so altogether we have 24 pieces of chicken right here. We have half a cup of crumbled blue cheese, half a cup of sour cream, half a cup of mayonnaise, two tablespoons of hot pepper sauce, one tablespoon of paprika, two tablespoons of melted butter, one tablespoon of white wine vinegar, and one minced garlic clove. So, first things first, we are gonna get our baking dish, a glass baking dish right here, and all we're gonna do is simply lay on our chicken wings on like so. So, yes, this is a very popular one with the guys, nice and spicy, and a really great treat when you're-- when you're doing something fun. There you go. So that all goes in there. We'll set this aside and we're gonna make our sauce to go over them. So, for our lovely sauce that's gonna go on top of our chicken wings, we're gonna get our pepper sauce right here, our melted butter, and our lovely paprika, one of my favorites, and we're just gonna stir all of that in together, and that is just gonna give the chicken wings a really great kick. Okay, perfect. All we're gonna do is pour that over our chicken wings. You can get a brush if you like and brush them over. You can do it with your fingers, but make sure they're all nicely covered. So now it's time to make our lovely refreshing dip to go with our chicken wings, so in a food processor here, let's put in our mayonnaise, in it goes, and our sour cream and we're gonna put the sour cream and mayonnaise in the blender, like so. That blue cheese goes in there, too, and our garlic, without...and our white wine vinegar. There we go. So, let's blend that up 'til nice and smooth and creamy. Okay, so our dip is done, it's nice, it's smooth, it's creamy, it's refreshing, and it's gonna be great with our chicken wings, so we're gonna put all of that into a nice serving dish right here, and we're gonna keep it nice and cool until our chicken wings are done. After 30 minutes, we've drained ou chicken wings and reserve that extra sauce to the side. Now, we've put our chicken wings on the rack of a broiler pan right here and we're just gonna garnish with a little bit of salt and pepper, so they are gonna go under the broiler for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, we're gonna turn our chicken, brush them with our remaining sauce, and broil in there for another 10 to 15 minutes until the chicken is nice and tender. So it's been 10 minutes and we've taken our buffalo wings out from the broiler, and look at them, they look fantastic, golden, crispy brown and just flavored so wonderfully with those beautiful herbs that we put on there, and I've just served it up in a dish with our beautiful dipping sauce, put some blue cheese on there, and a great way to serve them is with some celery, too. Well, if you guys don't bond over that, you could definitely call me because this is pretty much a fantastic dish. There you go, everyone.
