Hi. I'm Miranda with Recipe.com, and today, I'm gonna show you how to make Tangy Broccoli with Almonds. So we have our ingredients all laid out here. We have one 12-ounce package of fresh broccoli florets, 2 teaspoons of Worcester-style chicken marinade, and 2 tablespoons of toasted slivered almonds which are gonna be so yummy delicious. Over here to my right, I have like a medium-sized skillet, and as you'll see, I have this little steamer basket inside. I've got about half an inch of water boiling underneath because we are going to steam our broccoli florets, so let's add these in. And we are just gonna steam these with the lid on until they're crisp tender, about 8 to 10 minutes. Okay. It's been 8 minutes and my broccoli is nicely steamed and they're crisp tender so I'm gonna turn my heat off and let's remove the lid, and we are gonna grab the steamer basket. This is fun. We're gonna just...insert the spoon like that, using the handle, that's why it has this nifty little ring in the middle, and just kind of just pour it on here and just...dump it all in. Now, all we have to do is toss, so let's just add our little marinade in and toss this together. How simple is this? Don't you love that when you can just have like a nice little side dish, a twist on our old favorite, but it's so, so simple to do. Okay. And now we're just going to sprinkle the toasted almond slivers, and there you have it, so simple to do, so tasty. That's how you make Tangy Broccoli with Almonds.
