Valentine Berry Parfaits

Kids will love this five-ingredient dessert any time, but with layers of red berries and (if you wish) red-tinted pudding, it makes a great Valentine's Day treat.

  • 2  1-inch thick  angel food cake slices, cut into 1-inch cubesOn Sale
  • 3/4  cup  fresh strawberries, sliced, and/or raspberriesOn Sale
  • 1  4-ounce container  vanilla puddingOn Sale
  • 1/4  cup  whipped cream or thawed frozen whipped dessert toppingOn Sale
  • 1  drop  red food coloring (optional)On Sale

Directions
1.
In a small mixing bowl, gently fold together the vanilla pudding and whipped cream or topping. If desired, stir in red food coloring.

Using 2 parfait or sundae glasses, place one-fourth of the cake cubes in the bottom of each glass. Add one-fourth of the berries and one-fourth of the pudding mixture. Repeat the layers. Serve immediately. Makes 2 servings.
