Directions

In a large saucepan cook onion, sweet pepper, and turkey bacon in hot oil until tender. Stir in the water, turkey sausage, rice, the 2 to 3 teaspoons hot sauce, the rosemary, black pepper, and salt. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 45 to 50 minutes or until rice is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed. Stir cubed cooked turkey into rice mixture; heat through. Serve with bread and additional hot sauce, if desired. Makes 5 or 6 servings.
