Conserve

(KON serv) A mixture of two or three fruits and sugar, cooked to a jamlike consistency. Typically one of the fruits is a citrus fruit. Raisins and nuts usually are included.

  1. Apple-Nutmeg Conserve

    This apple condiment makes a marvelous spread on pita bread wedges arranged around a bowl of cheese cubes.

    This rhubarb mixture is used as an appetizer in this recipe but you could also serve it over grilled chicken or pork.

  3. Cranberry, Clementine and Pumpkin Seed Conserve
