Broccoli Rabe

(rob) A vegetable with 6- to 9-inch, dark green, leafy stalks and clusters of small buds that look somewhat like those on broccoli. Broccoli rabe, which is a member of the cabbage family, also is called rapini. Both the stems and leaves have a somewhat sharp and flavor.
