This soothing soup combines the convenience of ready-made tomato sauce with the fresh taste of garden-grown tomatoes and basil.

3 cupspeeled, seeded, and coarsely chopped tomatoessee savings
1 cupvegetable broth or chicken brothsee savings
1 8-ouncecan tomato saucesee savings
2 tablespoonssnipped fresh basil or 1 teaspoon dried basil, crushedsee savings
In blender container combine tomatoes, vegetable or chicken broth, and tomato sauce. Cover and blend until smooth. Stir in basil. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes 4 side-dish servings.
