Tandoori Rub

A trio of spices--curry powder, ginger, and cumin--proovide an exotic flavor to chicken. Because the vivid colors of fresh spices may stain your fingers, consider wearing plastic gloves before working with this rub.

1 8-oz. cartonplain yogurtsee savings

Directions

In a small bowl, stir together garlic, ginger, curry powder, cumin, and salt.

To use, wear disposable or plastic gloves to avoid staining your hands. Rub garlic mixture evenly onto chicken. Spread yogurt evenly over chicken Cover and chill at for 4 to 24 hours. Makes about 1-1/4 cups rub (enough for 3 pounds chicken).
