Swanson® Quick Skinny Mashed Potatoes
Instant potato flakes come alive when they are cooked in chicken broth instead of water.
Recipe from Swanson Broth & Stock
1 3/4 cups Swanson® Chicken Broth
Generous dash ground black pepper
1 1/3 cups instant mashed potato flakes or buds
HEAT broth and pepper in saucepan to a boil. Remove from heat. Stir in potato flakes until liquid is absorbed.
For creamier potatoes, add 1/4 cup milk and 2 tbsp. butter.
This recipe is also great using Swanson® Natural Goodness or Certified Organic Chicken Broth in place of the regular chicken broth.
