Sunny Strawberry Milk Shake
30 minutes or fewer. Inspired by the old-fashioned soda fountain treat, this refreshing drink is a perfect mid-morning or afternoon snack. The fruit gives it natural sweetness; the tofu increases the protein content. And adding ground flaxseeds contributes a pleasant, slightly nutty flavor plus fiber and omega-3s.

Ingredients

1/2 cup frozen strawberries

1 cup reduced-fat (2 percent) milk

1/4 cup soft tofu

1 tablespoon frozen orange juice concentrate

Directions

Place all ingredients, in order, in blender. Whirl until smooth and frothy. Pour into tall glass, and drink immediately.
