Sunny Broccoli Salad

Ingredients
  • 1  cup
    mayonnaise or reduced-fat mayonnaise dressing or salad dressing

    onion, finely chopped

    raisins

  • 1/4  to 1/3 cup
    sugar

  • 2  tablespoons
    vinegar

  • 7  cups
    chopped fresh broccoli

  • 1/2  cup
    sunflower seeds

  • 8  slices
    bacon, crisp-cooked, drained and crumbled

Directions
1.
In a large bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, onion, raisins, sugar, and vinegar.
2.
Add broccoli and stir to coat.
3.
Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or up to 24 hours.
4.
Stir in sunflower seeds and bacon just before serving. Makes 12 to 16 servings.
