Sometimes beverage provide calories but not many nutrients. Not this recipe! It's loaded with strawberries, which are high in vitamin C and potassium.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups  sliced fresh strawberriesOn Sale
  • 1/2 cup  fresh raspberriesOn Sale
  • 3 tablespoons  frozen apple juice concentrate, thawedOn Sale
  • 1 12-ounce can  diet lemon-lime carbonated beverageOn Sale
  •   Ice cubes*On Sale

In a blender, combine strawberries, raspberries, and apple juice concentrate. Cover and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve; discard pulp.

Pour strained mixture into a small pitcher; slowly stir in carbonated beverage. Serve over ice cubes in chilled glasses. Makes 4 (6-ounce) servings.

*Test Kitchen Tip
If desired, make berry ice cubes. Fill the compartments of an ice-cube tray with fresh quartered strawberries. Fill with water. Freeze until firm.
