  • 6    slices bacon, cut into piecesOn Sale
  • 1  can (28 ounces)  tomatoes in juiceOn Sale
  • 1  teaspoon  sugarOn Sale
  • 1/2  teaspoon  garlic powderOn Sale
  • 1/2  teaspoon  Italian seasoningOn Sale
  • 1/2  teaspoon  black pepperOn Sale
  • 1/2  teaspoon  saltOn Sale
  • 1  cup  frozen peas, thawedOn Sale
  • 1/4  cup  sour creamOn Sale
  • 12  ounces  of your favorite pasta, cookedOn Sale

Directions
1.
Cook bacon in a medium-size saucepan over medium heat for 8 minutes, until cooked through but not crispy. Drain on paper towels and discard drippings, but do not wipe out pan.
2.
Increase heat to medium-high and add tomatoes and their juice, breaking apart tomatoes with your hands while adding. Stir in sugar, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, pepper and salt. Cook 5 minutes (simmering vigorously), stirring every so often.
3.
Remove pan from heat and add peas, sour cream and drained bacon. Serve over cooked pasta.
