Sparkling Pomegranate Spritzers
Prosecco is a sparkling wine from Italy. Other dry, non-sweet sparkling wines work well for these quick-and-easy Valentine's Day-inspired spritzers, too. Look for bottles labeled "brut" or "extra dry."

Ingredients
-
2 tablespoons 100 percent pomegranate juice* or cranberry juice, chilled
-
Splash Cointreau or Grand Marnier, or otther orange liqueur (about 1/2 tsp.)
-
Prosecco or sparkling wine, chilled
Directions
1.
For each spritzer, in a small tumbler or flute combine pomegranate juice and Cointreau. Fill glass with Prosecco or sparkling wine. Makes: 1 serving
Note
Some pomegranate juices are filtered clear and some are not, either will work in this recipe.
