  • 1-1/2  cups  chopped cooked chickenOn Sale
  • 1/2  cup  finely chopped red bell pepperOn Sale
  • 1    (1.25-ounce) envelope taco-seasoning mixOn Sale
  • 12  ounces  Monterey Jack cheese with peppers, shreddedOn Sale
  • 3  tablespoons  salsaOn Sale
  • 1/2  teaspoon  saltOn Sale
  • 1/2  teaspoon  ground black pepperOn Sale
  • 50    wonton wrappersOn Sale
  •     Vegetable oilOn Sale

Directions
1.
In a mixing bowl, combine chicken, red bell pepper, taco seasoning mix, cheese, salsa, salt, and pepper; stir.
2.
Place 1 teaspoon of mixture in center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten wonton wrapper edges with water. Bring corners together, pressing to seal.
3.
In a Dutch oven, pour oil to a 2-inch depth and heat to 350 degrees F. Fry wontons in batches until golden, turning once. Drain on paper towels. Serve immediately.
