Southern-Style Pig Rub

A classic pork rub that is perfect for smoked pork roasts and is especially good for pulled pork.

1/8 cupcayenne peppersee savings

1/4 cupcoarse ground black peppersee savings

1/4 cupwhite peppersee savings

1/8 cuponion powdersee savings

1/4 cupgarlic saltsee savings

1/4 cupchili powdersee savings

1 cupdark brown sugarsee savings

1/8 cupdry mustardsee savings

Directions
1.
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients. Rub enough mixture on meat to thoroughly coat. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
2.
Remove from refrigerator and coat again with rub mixture. Leftover rub can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
