Snow Peas and Tomatoes

Dress this fresh vegetable side dish recipe, featuring grape or cherry tomatoes, snow pea pods, and shallots with a dressing of sesame and peanut oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve it in just 10 minutes.

Remove strings and tips from pea pods; set aside. In a 12-inch skillet cook shallot in hot peanut oil and sesame oil over medium heat until tender. Add pea pods and teriyaki sauce. Cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes or until pea pods are crisp-tender. Add tomatoes; cook 1 minute more. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Makes 6 servings.
