Skillet Chicken Parmesan

Prego Italian Sauce
This traditional Italian dish features browned boneless chicken breasts simmered in a delicious red sauce, then sprinkled with a mix of Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses.

Ingredients
-
1/4 cupgrated Parmesan cheesesee savings

-
1 1/2 cupsPrego® Traditional Italian Sauce OR Prego® Organic Tomato and Basil Italian Saucesee savings

-
1 tbsp.olive oilsee savings

-
1 1/2 lb.skinless, boneless chicken breast halvessee savings

-
1 1/2 cupsshredded part-skim mozzarella cheese (about 6 ounces)see savings

Directions
1.
Stir 3 tablespoons of the Parmesan cheese and sauce in a small bowl.
2.
Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 10 minutes or until it's well browned on both sides.
3.
Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, turning to coat with the sauce. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
4.
Top with the mozzarella cheese and the remaining Parmesan cheese. Let stand for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
