Simply Ramen Chicken Soup

This easy main-dish soup, made with chicken, broccoli, and ramen noodles, gets dinner on the table fast. Round out the meal with rolls and a tossed salad.

2 14-ounce cansreduced-sodium chicken brothsee savings

2 3-ounce packageschicken-flavored ramen noodlessee savings

1/2 teaspoondried oregano or basil, crushedsee savings

1 10-ounce packagefrozen cut broccolisee savings

2 cupsshredded cooked chicken or turkeysee savings

1/4 cuptoasted sliced almondssee savings
Directions
1.
In a large saucepan, bring chicken broth, the seasonings from the flavoring packet from noodles, and oregano or basil to boiling. Break up noodles. Add noodles and broccoli to mixture in saucepan; return to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 3 minutes. Stir in chicken; heat through. Ladle soup into bowls. Sprinkle with almonds. Makes 4 main-dish servings.
