Shredded BBQ Chicken Sandwiches

It takes just 35 minutes to make these tasty sandwiches, filled with a down-home mixture of shredded chicken and barbecue sauce - they just taste like you've been cooking all day.

Ingredients

2 jars(16 ounces each) Pace® Chunky Salsasee savings

-
1 tbsp.apple cider vinegarsee savings

-
1/4 cuppacked brown sugarsee savings

-
1/2 tsp.garlic powdersee savings

-
1/4 tsp.chili powdersee savings

-
4skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 1 pound)see savings

-
1 pkg.(13 ounces) Pepperidge Farm® Classic Sandwich Buns with Sesame Seedssee savings

-
Shredded Cheddar cheesesee savings

Directions
1.
Heat the salsa, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic powder and chili powder in a 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil.
2.
Add the chicken to the saucepan. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the chicken is fork-tender.
3.
Remove the chicken from the saucepan to a cutting board. Using 2 forks, shred the chicken. Return the chicken to the saucepan and cook until the mixture is hot and bubbling. Serve the chicken mixture on the buns. Sprinkle with the cheese.
