Season's Best Shrimp Parmesan
A creamy, rich shrimp sauce is served over rice or pasta for this 30-minute meal.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon chopped onion

2 tablespoons butter

1 clove garlic, minced

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper

1-1/2 cups whipping cream
-
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

3 tablespoons ketchup
-
1 pound peeled and deveined cooked large shrimp

Hot cooked rice or pasta

Fresh oregano or basil (optional)
Directions

In a medium saucepan, cook onion in hot butter until onion is tender. Add garlic, salt, red pepper, and white pepper. Stir in whipping cream, Parmesan cheese, and catsup. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes or until sauce thickens. Stir in cooked shrimp.

Serve shrimp mixture over hot cooked rice or pasta. Garnish with fresh herbs, if you like.
