Ingredients
  • 1 Pound
    kale, stems removed and torn into 2-inch pieces

    Swiss chard, stems removed and torn into 2-inch pieces

  • 2 Tablespoons
    olive oil

  • red bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • 2 Tablespoons
    finely chopped shallot (about 1)

  • 1/2 Teaspoon
    salt

    crushed red pepper flakes

Directions
1.
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to boil. Add kale and Swiss chard; cook 3 minutes. Transfer to a colander and drain well.
2.
In same pot, heat oil over medium-low heat. Add bell pepper and shallot. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
3.
Return greens to pot; add salt, and red pepper flakes to taste. Saute until greens are tender, about 5 minutes.
