Salsa Verde Meatballs

These mouthwatering baked meatballs are flavored with salsa, and make the perfect appetizer for your next party...better make plenty...they're really good.

Ingredients

1 1/4 cupsPace® Salsa Verdesee savings

-
1 1/2 lb.ground beefsee savings

-
1eggsee savings

-
3/4 cupfinely crushed tortilla chipssee savings

-
4green onions, minced (about 1/2 cup)see savings

Directions
1.
Heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2.
Thoroughly mix 3/4 cup salsa, beef, egg, tortilla chips and green onions in a large bowl. Shape the mixture firmly into 16 meatballs.
3.
Place the meatballs into a 3-quart shallow baking dish. Top each with 1 teaspoon salsa.
4.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through. Serve with the remaining salsa.
5.
Mini Meatballs: Prepare the beef mixture as directed above. Shape the mixture firmly into 48 mini meatballs. Place the meatballs into a 4-quart shallow baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 10 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through. Serve with the remaining salsa.
