Roasted Broccoli with Toasted-Pecan Butter

Ingredients

1/3 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

4 heads broccoli, cut into large florets

1/3 cup olive oil

1/2 tablespoon salt

1/2 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

In a small saucepan, lightly toast pecans over medium heat. Add butter, reducing heat to low until butter melts. Turn off heat and set aside.

Place broccoli in a large jelly-roll pan and toss with oil, salt, and pepper.
4.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until browned.
5.
Remove from oven, place in a serving dish and drizzle with butter mixture.
