  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • 4 teaspoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon granular sugar substitute (sucralose)
  • 1/2 medium head green cabbage, cored and thinly sliced (about 6 cups)
  • 1/2 medium head red cabbage, cored and thinly sliced (about 6 cups)

Aļoli is a garlic mayonnaise, originally from the Provence region of France. It's used as a condiment for potatoes, fish, and vegetables.

Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, blue cheese, vinegar, garlic, salt, and sugar substitute in a large bowl. Add green and red cabbage and toss well.
Cover and chill at least 1 hour before serving. (Can be made ahead. Store in an airtight container and refrigerate up to 24 hours.)
