  • 4  ounces  hot Italian sausage links, sliced 1/4 inch thickOn Sale
  • 4  ounces  sweet Italian sausage links, sliced 1/4 inch thickOn Sale
  • 1/2  cup  chopped onionOn Sale
  • 2    medium potatoes, peeled and slicedOn Sale
  • 2  14-ounce cans  chicken broth or vegetable brothOn Sale
  • 1  10-ounce package  frozen chopped spinachOn Sale
  • 1/2  cup  beer or waterOn Sale
  • 1/4  teaspoon  pepperOn Sale

Directions

In a large saucepan cook the hot sausage, sweet sausage, and onion until sausage is browned and onion is tender. Drain fat. Add the potatoes, the chicken or vegetable broth, spinach, beer or water, and pepper. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Makes 6 side-dish servings.
