    red onion, halved and very thinly sliced

Directions
1.
In a large glass bowl combine onion, cabbage, brown sugar and vinegar; stir to combine. Cover and chill overnight, stirring occasionally. Mixture may be stored in refrigerator up to 3 days. Makes 3-1/2 cups (23, 2-tablespoon servings).
