Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp.
    vegetable oil

  • large onion, sliced (about 1 cup)

  • large red or green pepper, thinly sliced (about 1 1/2 cups)

  • 1 cup
    sliced mushrooms

  • frozen sandwich steaks (about 2 ounces each)

  • 1 can
    (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell's® Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup

  • (8-inch) long hard rolls, split

Directions
1.
Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion, pepper and mushrooms and cook until the vegetables are tender. Remove the vegetables from the skillet.
2.
Add the steaks to the skillet. Cook and stir until they're cooked through.
3.
Spoon the soup into a microwavable bowl. Cover and microwave on HIGH for 1 1/2 minutes or until it's hot. Stir.
4.
Spread each roll with 2 tablespoons soup. Divide the steaks and vegetables among the rolls and top with the remaining soup.

Tip:
Try using prepared garlic bread instead of the rolls in this recipe.

We adore spicy banana peppers as a topping, but omit them if you can do without the heat.
