    all-purpose flour

    ground nutmeg

    dried tart cherries

    Ready-To-Eat Cereal Mini-Wheats® Frosted Bite Size (coarsely crushed to 1 cup)

    butter or margarine, melted

Directions
1.
Brush bottom and sides of crust with egg substitute. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 5 minutes.
2.
Sprinkle pears with lemon juice. In large bowl stir together sugar, flour and nutmeg. Add pears and cherries. Gently toss until coated. Spoon into crust.
3.
In small bowl toss together cereal and butter. Sprinkle over top of pie. Bake at 375 degrees F about 55 minutes or until bubbly. (If necessary, loosely cover pie with foil during the last 15 minutes of baking to prevent over-browning.) Cool on wire rack.

*Note:
If desired, substitute 1 beaten egg yolk, 1 beaten egg white or 2 tablespoons of a beaten egg for the egg substitute.
