Ingredients
  • firm, ripe pears, cored and cut into slices or chunks

    lemon juice

  • 2  10- to 12-ounce bags
    prewashed baby spinach

  • 1  cup
    bottled champagne salad dressing

  • 1  8-ounce package
    purchased glazed pecans or walnuts

Directions
1.
In a very large bowl combine 5 cups water and the lemon juice. Add pear slices or chunks. Cover and chill up to 1 hour. Drain well.
2.
Place spinach in a very large bowl. Add pears and dressing ; toss gently to coat. Transfer to a very large salad bowl. Sprinkle with nuts. Makes 25 servings.
