Peachy Cherry Sauce
Ready in fewer than 20 minutes, this low-calorie fruit sauce is delicious over frozen yogurt.

Ingredients

1/4 cup reduced-calorie orange marmalade

1/4 cup orange juice

2 teaspoons cornstarch

1 teaspoon margarine
-
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom or cinnamon

2 cups sliced, peeled peaches or sliced nectarines or frozen unsweetened peach slices

1 cup pitted dark sweet cherries or frozen unsweetened pitted dark sweet cherries

1/2 cup frozen yogurt or ice milk
Directions

In a medium saucepan combine marmalade, orange juice, cornstarch, margarine, and cardamom. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Stir in fresh or frozen peaches and cherries. Cover and cook over medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes or until fruits are just tender, stirring once. Cool slightly.

To serve, spoon sauce into dessert dishes. Top each serving with a small spoonful of the frozen yogurt. Serves 5.
