Peach Steak Sauce

Serve this sweet-and-hardy sauce over all kinds of beef. Try it on grilled burgers or pork chops, too.

Ingredients

2 mediumfresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and cut upsee savings

1/4 cuppeach or apricot nectarsee savings

2 tablespoonscondensed beef consomme or condensed beef brothsee savings

2 tablespoonsbalsamic vinegarsee savings

1 tablespoonpacked brown sugarsee savings

-
1 tablespoonminced onionsee savings

-
1/4 teaspoonground cinnamonsee savings

Directions
1.
In a blender or food processor, blend peaches until almost smooth.

In a small saucepan combine pureed peaches and remaining ingredients. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, about 10 minutes or to desired consistency, stirring occasionally. Makes 1 cup.
