Pasta with Fresh Tomato Sauce

Serve this pasta recipe as a light side dish, or add grilled chicken to serve as a complete meal.

see savings2large tomatoes or 6 to 8 Roma tomatoes, chopped (2 cups)

see savings1 tablespoonsnipped fresh basil and/or oregano

see savings6 ouncesdried capellini (angel hair), linguine, or spaghetti

Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions, except omit any salt or oil; drain.
Add the hot pasta to the tomato mixture; toss to mix. If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh basil. Makes 3 side-dish servings.
