Pancetta-Flavored Braised Cabbage

Ingredients

1-1/2 Ounce-weightspancetta, finelly choppedsee savings

1 Tablespoonolive oilsee savings

1/2 Cupfinely chopped onionsee savings

1/2 Cupfinely chopped fennel bulbsee savings

4 Cupsthinly sliced green cabbagesee savings

1/4 Cupchicken brothsee savings

1/4 Teaspoonsaltsee savings

1/4 Teaspooncrushed red pepper flakessee savings

1 Teaspoonwhite-wine vinegarsee savings

Directions
1.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook pancetta 3 to 4 minutes, until browned and crisp. Transfer to a plate.
2.
Add oil, onion and fennel to skillet and cook 3 minutes, until lightly browned. Add cabbage, broth, salt and crushed red pepper.
3.
Reduce heat to medium; cover and cook until tender, 18 to 20 minutes.
4.
Stir in vinegar and pancetta.
