Old-Fashioned Meat Loaf

Croutons rather than bread crumbs help hold this well-seasoned meat loaf together. Serve it for dinner with a side of creamy mashed potatoes.
Ingredients

2beaten eggssee savings

1/4 cuptomato pastesee savings

2 teaspoonsKitchen Bouquetsee savings

3/4 teaspoonseasoned saltsee savings
-
1/2 cupfinely chopped green peppersee savings
-
1/2 cupfinely chopped celerysee savings
-
1/2 cupfinely chopped onionsee savings
-
1-1/2 poundsground beefsee savings
-
1 cupplain croutonssee savings
-
3/4 teaspoonblack peppersee savings
Directions
1.
In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, tomato paste, Kitchen Bouquet, salt, and black pepper. Stir in chopped green pepper, celery, and onion. Add the ground beef and croutons; mix well.

In a shallow baking pan, form meat mixture into a loaf (about 9x4 inches). Cover loosely with foil.
3.
Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 55 to 65 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160 degree F. Makes 6 servings.
