Marinated Coleslaw

A spicy lime dressing gets a zing of heat from a sliced jalapeno chile pepper. That's all it takes to turn a basic coleslaw into a sensational salad ready in a flash.

Directions

Combine cabbage mixture, onion, and pecans in very large salad bowl. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture; gently toss to coat. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 4 hours.

Hot 'n' Spicy Lime Dressing: Combine 1 cup garlic-and-lime marinade, 1 to 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard, 1 seeded and sliced jalapeno chile, and 1 teaspoon celery seed in a small bowl using a wire whisk. Makes 1 cup.
