Marinated Beef Steak

Pace Salsa & Picante
Juicy, tender steak marinated and basted with a garlic-laced Pace® Picante Sauce comes from the grill sizzling with flavor. Serve this steak with additional Pace® Picante Sauce and collect the compliments!

Ingredients

2/3 cupPace® Picante Saucesee savings

-
1/3 cupvegetable oilsee savings

-
1 tsp.dried oregano leaves, crushedsee savings

-
1/4 tsp.garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, mincedsee savings

-
1beef top round steak, 1 1/2-inch thick (about 1 1/2 pounds)see savings

Directions
1.
Mix the picante sauce, oil, oregano and garlic powder in shallow, nonmetallic dish or resealable plastic bag. Add the steak and turn to coat with the marinade. Cover the dish or seal the plastic bag and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
2.
Lightly oil the grill rack and heat the grill to medium. Grill or broil steak until desired doneness, turning and brushing often with picante sauce mixture. Discard any remaining picante sauce mixture.
3.
Slice the steak into thin diagonal slices. Serve with additional picante sauce.
