Maple Apples

Ingredients

4medium cooking apples, coredsee savings

1/4 cupraisins or dried cranberriessee savings

2 tablespoonschopped walnutssee savings

-
3 tablespoonsreduced-calorie maple-flavored syrupsee savings

-
1/2 cupwatersee savings

Directions
1.
Cut off a strip of peel near the top of each apple. Arrange apples in a 2-quart square baking dish. Fill apples with raisins or cranberries and walnuts. Brush apples with syrup. Add the water to the baking dish.
2.
Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender, basting occasionally with the cooking liquid. Serve warm. Makes 4 servings.
