Mac and Cheese Burger Bowl

1 poundlean (at least 80%) ground beefsee savings

1 mediumonion, chopped (1/2 cup)see savings

1 boxHamburger Helper® cheeseburger macaronisee savings

2 cupsGreen Giant® Valley Fresh Steamers frozen broccoli cutssee savings

2 mediumcarrots, sliced (1 cup)see savings

1 teaspoondried thyme leavessee savings

3/4 teaspoonsaltsee savings

-
1/4 teaspoonpeppersee savings

2 tablespoonschopped fresh parsleysee savings

Shredded Cheddar cheese, if desiredsee savings

Directions
1.
In 4-quart Dutch oven, cook beef and onion over medium heat 5 to 7 mintues, stirring occasionally, until beef is thoroughly cooked; drain well.
2.
Stir in hot water, contents of uncooked pasta and sauce mix pouches (from Hamburger Helper box), broccoli, carrots, thyme, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
3.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. Stir in parsley. Garnish each serving with cheese.
Tip:
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Increase water to 6 1/2 cups and simmer time to 17 minutes.
