Kielbasa Stew

Let the slow cooker blend the flavors of this easy sausage and vegetable stew.

4 or 5 servings
Ingredients

4 cupscoarsely chopped cabbagesee savings

3 cupspeeled, cubed potatosee savings
-
1-1/2 cupssliced carrotssee savings
-
1 poundcooked kielbasa, slicedsee savings
-
1/2 teaspoondried basil, crushedsee savings
-
1/2 teaspoondried thyme, crushedsee savings
-
1/2 teaspoonground black peppersee savings
-
2 14-ounce cansreduced-sodium chicken brothsee savings
Directions
1.
In a 4- to 5-quart slow cooker combine cabbage, potato, and carrots. Top with kielbasa. Sprinkle basil, thyme, and pepper over kielbasa. Pour chicken broth over all.

Cover; cook on low-heat setting for 7 to 9 hours or on high-heat setting for 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 hours. Makes 4 or 5 servings.
