Kale with Pears and Onions

Ingredients

1 Poundchopped kale, remove stemssee savings

-
3 Tablespoonsolive oilsee savings

-
1white onion, thinly slicedsee savings

-
1medium pear, cored and thickly slicedsee savings

-
1/4 Teaspooncurry powdersee savings

-
1/8 Teaspoonnutmegsee savings

-
1/2 Teaspoonsaltsee savings

-
1/4 Teaspoonblack peppersee savings

Directions
1.
Cook kale in a large pot of boiling, lightly salted water until bright green and wilted, about 3 minutes. Drain, cool 10 minutes, and squeeze out excess liquid.
2.
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until lightly golden, about 6 to 7 minutes.
3.
Stir in pear and cook until crisp-tender, 2 to 3 minutes.
4.
Add curry and nutmeg and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
5.
Add kale and salt and pepper and cook, stirring frequently, until tender, about 3 to 4 minutes. Serve warm.
