  • 1    ready-to-use rolled-out piecrustOn Sale
  • 1-1/4  cups  sugarOn Sale
  • 1  tablespoon  fine-ground white cornmealOn Sale
  • 1/2  cup  (1 stick) butter, melted and cooledOn Sale
  • 4    eggsOn Sale
  • 1  tablespoon  white distilled vinegarOn Sale
  • 1  teaspoon  vanillaOn Sale
  • 1/8  teaspoon  saltOn Sale

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Unfold piecrust; fit into 9-inch pie pan.

Mix sugar and cornmeal in bowl. Stir in butter, eggs, vinegar, vanilla sand salt. Pour into pie shell.

Bake in 350 degree F oven 45 minutes or until set. If top starts to brown, lightly cover with foil about halfway through baking. Cool pie completely on wire rack. Makes 8 servings.
