Italian Fish Fillets
Recipe from
Pepperidge Farm
Tender white fish fillets are coated with a savory breadcrumb mixture made from Pepperidge Farm® White Sandwich Bread, Parmesan cheese, garlic, thyme, pepper and olive oil, and are baked until the fish is done and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.

Ingredients

2 slicesPepperidge Farm® White Sandwich Bread, torn into piecessee savings

-
1/3 cupshredded Parmesan cheesesee savings

1 clovegarlicsee savings

-
1/2 tsp.dried thyme leaves, crushedsee savings

-
1/8 tsp.ground black peppersee savings

-
2 tbsp.olive oilsee savings

-
8fish fillets (3- to 4-ounce, each) tilapia or other firm white fish fillets* (about 2 pounds)see savings

1egg, beatensee savings

Directions
1.
Place bread, cheese, garlic, thyme and black pepper in blender or food processor. Cover and blend until fine crumbs form. Slowly add olive oil and blend until moistened.
2.
Arrange fish fillets in large shallow roasting pan. Brush with egg. Divide bread crumb mixture evenly over fillets.
3.
Bake at 400 degrees F. for 10 min. or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork and crumb topping is golden.
