Honey-Mustard Slaw

A piquant honey-mustard dressing and a sprinkle of nuts update this picnic favorite.

Ingredients

8 cupsshredded red and/or green cabbage (about 1 head)see savings

2medium carrots, shreddedsee savings

2 cupspea pods, halved crosswisesee savings

1/2 cupchopped red onionsee savings

1/4 cuplemon juicesee savings

1/3 cupcoarse-grain mustardsee savings

Directions
1.
In a large bowl stir together cabbage, carrots, pea pods, and onion. For dressing, in a screw-top jar combine mustard, oil, lemon juice, honey, and garlic.

Cover and shake well; pour over the cabbage mixture. Toss lightly to coat. Cover; chill for 2 to 24 hours, stirring occasionally. Before serving, stir slaw and sprinkle with nuts. Makes 8 servings.
