    halved fresh strawberries

    cubed cantaloupe

    pitted dates, quartered

    chopped fresh mint or 2 teaspoons dried mint leaves

Directions
1.
In medium bowl toss together KELLOGG'S SMART START HEALTHY HEART cereal and almonds (if desired). In small microwave-safe bowl stir together brown sugar, 1 tablespoon honey and orange peel. Microwave at high about 20 seconds or until sugar dissolves.

Drizzle brown sugar mixture over cereal mixture. Toss to coat. Spread on baking sheet lined with foil and sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 325 degrees F about 18 minutes or until light brown, stirring after 10 minutes. Cool completely. Break into pieces*.
3.
In large bowl toss together strawberries, cantaloupe, dates and mint. Drizzle with orange juice and 2 tablespoons honey. Toss to coat. Spoon into 10 serving bowls. Sprinkle with cereal mixture.

*Note:
If desired, store the cooled cereal mixture in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
