Honey-Dijon Chicken

Marinating the chicken overnight frees up your kitchen and your time until just before serving. It also infuses the chicken with a hint of sweetness and a rich Dijon-style mustard flavor.

Ingredients

8skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 2-1/2 lb. total)see savings

1/2 cupwhite Zinfandel wine, apple juice, or apple cidersee savings

1/4 cupolive oil or cooking oilsee savings

1/4 cuphoneysee savings

1/4 cupDijon-style mustardsee savings

4 clovesgarlic, mincedsee savings

1/2 tsp.ground black peppersee savings

1/4 tsp.saltsee savings

Directions

Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag set in a bowl. For marinade, in a small bowl combine wine or apple juice, oil, honey, mustard, garlic, pepper, and salt. Pour marinade over chicken; seal bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours or up to 24 hours, turning bag occasionally.

Drain chicken, discarding marinade. Place chicken on the grill rack directly over medium heat; grill for 12 to 15 minutes or until done (170 degrees F), turning once halfway through grilling. Makes 8 servings.
